Dear Rachel:
I hear your distress, and share it about this mother from India.
Vaishali has sent me the name and two telephone numbers of an
organization specializing in this very issue. I have received authorization to make two
more home visits; I called her after my last visit, and she chuckled when I
asked her if she had thoughts of hurting herself or the baby. Her
mother-in-law is there all the time, so that will be a safeguard.
Maybe I should post this to the list?
    warmly,
Nikki Lee RN, MS, Mother of 2, IBCLC, CCE
