I chime in on the leave the license plate on the car.
Tell your daughter it could be worse. I have two teenage daughters, 16, and 15. They have to put up with not only bumper stickers on the car, but a real, live, nursing brother. I nurse my 2.5 year old in front of their friends, and at school functions just as I would anywhere else.
It is unusual enough, unfortunately, for teens to see infants nursing. Seeing a walking talking child nurse is often eye opening for them. I have found that the teen boys especially are very kind and accomodating to my toddler, talking to him and playing with him. If it has embarrassed them to see him nurse, they have gotten over it.
