does anyone know of any source for the number or
rate of NEONATAL (<28 days) deaths due to not
breastfeeding, in the US, or anywhere else the
developed world?
chen and rogan (2004) did an outstanding job of
calculating POST-neonatal (>28 days)
formula-related US deaths, but surely neonatal
deaths are at least as high, when you consider
necrotizing enterocolitis etc etc.
thank you all very much,
tina
