The primary problem is with the OB who is giving depo "off label," that is
before 6 weeks of infant's life. The neonatologist needs to get tough about
this with the OB(s). The neonatologist needs to protect the milk supply
for his patients :-) Until someone gets in the OB's face he will continue to
do what he pleases. It really needs to be Dr to Dr, LCs and nurses, who
know better about use of depo, shouldn't be put in the the position of
trying to get OB to stop. IMHO :-) Pat in SNJ
