Goldsmith's sign is when an infant refuses to suckle a previously accepted breast. This can be an early sign of breast cancer.
Marie mentions it on page 132 of Breastfeeding the Newborn: Clinical Strategies for Nurses, 2nd ed. (But doesn't say anymore that what I just said.)
