Sometimes moms work so hard on their "questionable milk supplies" that 
they wind up overproducing, triggering some gut damage and a little 
bleeding in the stool.  Mom can try unilateral bf, working slowly up to 
as long as she needs to on one breast till baby is comfortable, and can 
try eliminating the most common allergens temporarily, till baby heals.  
There is no emergency, unless the bleeding is profuse.
