Just went to a conference for PNPs (pediatric nurse practitioners) that
mentioned that babies who are SGA (small for gestational age ) or LGA (large
for gestational age) are more prone to obesity, especially if mother's
gestational diabetes isn't well controlled.  Something to do with body
misreading signals from insulin load or lack that they are immersed in for 9
mo.  Interesting concept. Pat in SNJ
