I was contacted by email by a women who is expecting to adopt a baby in
the near future.  It will be an open adoption.

My question is how long does the adoptive mother have to wait before she
may place the baby to the breast?  Is it part of the birth plan?  Does she
have to wait until relinquish papers have been signed?  Is it different in
each of the 50 states?

Darrilyn, could you please contact me off list, I have a few brief
