I did a search on DHA when the Mead-Johnson guy did a
wine/dinner "educational program" off site for our
nursing staff (that's another story!). One research
study I came across (didn't save it-sorry) stated
taking cod liver oil supplement would provide DHA
needed. It didn't say if it needed to be a specific
grade or not. I can only assume that, as w/ all
products quality can vary from manufacture to
manufacturer. I used to refer mothers to a pharmacist
that carried high quality supplements and botanicals.
