There is a great way to get pumping done quickly at work. Moms can double
pump, and keep spare parts (and milk) in the refrigerator between pumpings.
You need to always remove the full bottle and store separately, but there is
absolutely nothing wrong with pumping into refrigerated parts, and it takes
more than a couple of days for milk to go bad in the refrigerator. Obviously,
parts can be cleaned once the mother is home. Most nurses have refrigerators
in their employee lounge or locker area. Also, most nurses can find a space
to do this. As we all know, even five minutes is better than nothing. The
most important thing is to have laws and employers that support them.
