Thank you, all, for your prompt replies. Cathy W-G's was first and I
printed it and headed out to the home. We tried many things, ending with
hand expression. She was impressed with the stream from one nipple pore.
I went back later with the old Kaneson hand pump and she met me at the door
with a large smile. She had hand expressed 3 ounces in half an hour. At
least she knows that she can get milk out.
She rented the Lactina to see if the new PIS is defective. I put the PIS
flange to my breast and it hardly pulled it at all. Usually breast pumps
really hurt my un-used breasts. It will be interesting if the pump is the
problem.
If others have ideas you can still send them in. She does have renewed
hope but other ideas will be welcomed.
Thank you for sharing on so short notice. I will let you know how it turns out.
