I have searched the archives to no avail, so I am hoping that a Lactnetter
may have some information. I am part of the Italian Lactation Consultant
Association AICPAM and we are interested in knowing if there is anywhere in
the world (or even better, in Europe) where the IBCLC credential has been
officially recognized. I know this is an ongoing battle, but things like
the mention of the IBCLC credential in the European Union's Blueprint for
Action make me hope that one day this may be possible.
If no one has managed to get recognized, are there groups that are working
on it? We would love to be part of that effort.
TIA,
Elise Chapin
