The posts about Christine's baby point out that without test weights, or even having baby weighed at the doctor's office, we really don't know how he or she is doing feeding wise. Of course, we can count bowel movement diapers and all but when mom thinks she has low supply and is supplementing alot, it is imperative that we do the basics first. I also find that the new formulas with added DHA or AHA make baby's poop alot. So, even 2 formula bottles a day can make baby "look good" bowel movement wise, even when they are not breastfeeding well and not gaining weight.
