Over the past couple of years I have heard many moms using ordinary sparkling mineral water for treating thrush.
Someone told it 'shouldn't' work really, because the pH of mineral water is close to neutral, but there are several moms who say it clearly helped them. I feel I cannot personally recommend this treatment because I don't know the rationale behind it.
Any idea would sparkling mineral water baths be helpful treatment for thrush, and if so, why? (the carbon dioxide?).
