My first son was 7 pounds 10 ounces at birth and was 16 pounds 8 ounces at 2
months. He was 32 pounds at one year. Didn't start eating solids
consistently until he was 18 mos old. My ped didn't worry because he was also long.
He is now 4 yrs old and weighs 55 pounds and is over 4 feet tall. People
guess he is 6 or 7 yrs old. Very healthy and happy. Breastfed until he was 2
years old. Some babies are big. Everyone said he would be late on
development but he sat up at 4 mos, crawled at 5.5 mos and walked at 9 mos. He did not
slow down in weight gain when he started walking or running. My second is
now 2.5 years and weighs 28 pounds on a good day. Fed exactly the same way.
Wears the clothes my first son wore at 6 mos old.
