Dear Friends:
For those of us in the US who work in hospitals and have to deal with
billing, here is a model that we might be able to use.
How do diabetes clinical specialists or diabetes educators bill? How do
'ostomy' specialists bill? I can't imagine a medical-surgical unit without
specialists to provide specialized teaching for these conditions.
Maybe we in the US nned to make lactation a clinical speciality?
