Thanks to all of you for your rapid responses to my post.  I am a bit
embarrassed, because I just translated and sent on the query from my
associate, which came to me third-hand from another Norwegian IBCLC, and I
assumed they had already done the basic footwork (pun intended).  Medela is
well known in Norway, but not one of us was aware of the existence of the
foot-pedal operated model.  That's what abundant hydroelectric power does to
a country, I guess.
