Dee Kassing, your situation you describe sounds much like me except yours
does sound more projectile. I don't feel belittled by others saying I had a
laundry problem, though I can see how some might feel this way if they are not
allowed to express their emotions of how they don't like this problem, so
listening and empathizing with a mom is key. This is what I got from peers around me
so I was able to cope with this. I give moms info about what could cause it
like dairy and some moms want to take dairy out and explore other things. What I
see more though is moms with unhappy babies rarely do a diet changes let
alone a mom with a happy baby. Another thing I often see is a baby spitting up and
it isn't spitting up like Dee Kassing illustrated and moms are worried by
small amounts and it looks like a lot and think a baby shouldn't spit up at all.
Moms think their milk is bad and want to switch to abm. If they are spitting
breastmilk abm would not be better for them to spit up. I have been around
babies (my sisters) who spit up abm and it smells way worse than any breastmilk
spitup and stains worse too. All spitting up doesn't lead to anemia but
something to mention if the baby is a huge spitter.
