Chele Marmet calls these dimpled nipples, and the Lactation Institute 
sells a little velcro ring to put around the nipple shaft to keep the 
sore tip opened to the air.
I find that a nice new sticky soothies (glycerin gel pad) also works 
well to keep the invaginated area spread open, if applied with it open 
already.
