Be sure to watch the video, even though it takes a while to come up and
there is a commercial first.  I am just imagining the edema from this!!
Study: Epidurals do not raise risk of C-sections
Pregnant women can be given a low-dose epidural early in labor without
raising their chances of a Caesarean section, according to a study that
could change the way obstetricians practice and make childbirth a lot
less painful for many mothers-to-be.
