Depends on where you live.  In the US if you say nursing a baby, almost
everyone understands it to mean breastfeeding.  (I wonder when the
term 'nursing' became a euphemism for breastfeeding?).

In many other countries 'nursing' a baby generally means childcare, which
can be done by anyone.
