Rachel,
According to Martek website their oils are in formulas in the UK (Wyeth SMA
Gold) and in Spain. Their patent was revoked by the European Patent Office
following challenges by two potential competitors. They state in the following
article that their "sales" in Europe could be affected.

I have a news release from Martek dated Jan 6 1997 that states that Novartis
has "introduced a preterm infant formula PreAdapta (Sandoz Nutrition)
containing Martek's oils. I have another news release dated November 12, 1996 that
Nutricia based in the Netherlands has introduced its preterm infant formula
Nenatal, containing Martek oils in Spain. According to this news release Spain
represented the 5th European country in which Martek oils are being marketed
(Netherlands, Belgium, Finland and the UK). Preterm infant formulas were
marketed first in Europe and in other countries including Australia, Israel, Spain,
France and Hong Kong. Martek has license agreements with many infant formula
companies around the world.
