There was a study done in India and published in Breastfeeding Review many
years ago telling how they started the combined oral contraceptive at about
6 months (I think) and it didn't interfere with supply. I know some women
are very sensitive to hormones, but for most the autocrine control should
keep the breastmilk production going normally.
I don't have time to look up the reference just now - maybe someone else
will have it??
