one of the easiest ways to add iron to the diet of a picky child is to
use Ferrochel (iron bisglycinate) by Albion Labs.   it's a nearly
tasteless powder and the absorption rate is about 49%.    it also
doesn't have the same toxicity issues associated with it as can other
forms of iron.

kirkman labs (www.kirkmanlabs.com) makes a 5 mg capsule that is teeny
and can easily be opened into food or drink.....or mixed with 1/4 tsp
liquid and given in dropper or syringe.  t
