Patent # 6399570 called "Antimicrobial endotoxin neutralizing polypeptide"
invented by David Mann and assigned to Agennix obtained their milk from outdated
frozen human colostrum. Agennix is located in Houston, Texas. So I assume
it must be a local milk bank in Houston. How do other milk banks handle
outdated milk?
Valerie W. McClain, breastfeeding advocate
"Sample preparation. Outdated frozen human colostrum was obtained from a
local mother's milk bank. All other body fluid samples were obtained from the
Tissue Procurement Center at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center or
from volunteer donors in the laboratory. "
