I have not been able to find the Elite or Ultra in any store in the past
8-12 months, including the ones that had previously stocked them.
Several stores put the wide "ultra" nipple on clearance, then sold an
identical nipple labeled "comfy".  Last month (Sept 2004)  the wide
comfy's were all on clearance, and have been replaced with a slender
based comfi that does not require a special ring and that is no longer
suitable for modeling a breastfeeding mouth position.

It does me no good to recommend something my clients cannot actually
find for sale, and I'm not eager to go into the business of selling
bottles.  I'd rather recommend something they can actually get by
themselves (right now that seems to be the Playtex natural latch, which
has a longer teat than I'd like, and the Gerber comfort latch, which is
a good shape but much harder to find.)

I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has had a different experience
trying to obtain this product.
