The research on D is just really starting to make inroads. It's a very
very serious health issue in developed parts of the world and needs to
be taken as such.

~who takes 1200 IU vitamin D daily in the summer and 1600 IU vitamin D
daily in the winter. i've followed my D levels with labwork for
about a year now and this is what's been needed for me to keep my D
levels in *optimal* ranges...as opposed to lab norm ranges.
