I doubt if they considered how fed! Isn't that the usual? But I remember
which speaker it was (I think) and I'll try to track her down and get refs.
I'm finding obese babies in my practice because moms are overfeeding, breast
and then stuffing a bottle in too. Say the babies are hungry (ie: want to
eat frequently) so I'm back to "only" breast, breast babies do eat
frequently, it digests quicker etc. Feel like I'm back to square one.
At least they are starting to BF, but there is a tremendous amount of
teaching needed for the average inner city mom on what is normal for BFing.
In our area, LLL group attendence has really dwindled and yet moms really
seem to need LLL more :-(
