Wow---I am talkative today!

We had a biliary atresia 2 years ago...she was diagnosed relatively late (~2 
mos), presumable because she was exclusively breastfed and did amazingly 
well...just gradually turned green, and stopped gaining weight.  We received 
a Christmas card from her mother saying that she continues to stun the 
doctors with how well she is doing.  She did have the initial procedure to 
hook her small bowel into the liver, but is doing very well...and may avoid 
a live transplant.  Mom is convinced it was the breastmilk...she never 
received formula.
