Hi all,
I recently got an LLL helping email from a mom who has Congenital Adrenal
Hyperplasia. She has been taking Dexamethasone (a potent oral corticosteroid)
.5 mg for several years, and is 7 months pregnant. I'm giving her info from
Hale's, but would love to tell her more if anyone is familiar with the drug or
the disorder. I'm wondering why her doctor is letting her take it pregnant,
but discouraging breastfeeding?
Any help would be appreciated. Mom is in Harrisburg, PA.
Thanks!
Shannon
