Your client may well have PCOS, undiagnosed. However, it is impossible to
ascertain without a more thorough screening. If her breasts are "teeny" as
you say and did not respond to pregnancy and are wide-spaced, the outlook is
not good. I do not expect a lot as we have missed the major window of
growth. However, my best recommendation would be goat's rue as much as
several times a day. It may increase her glandular tissue, though no
miracles in general. How committed is mom? As I'm re-reading an article on
cultural contexts of adoptive nursing, I'm reminded that the most successful
cultures carry babies and put them to breast many times a day. This is the
kind of stimulation needed to see what is possible.
I had a mom who sounded somewhat like your client; she palpated between a
cherry and a walnut on each side. Baby was only transferring 10ccs a
feeding; with goat's rue we doubled that and were increasing (including more
"fullness" in breast) before I lost track of her (she spoke spanish only,
difficult to keep in communication).
