Dear Friends:
Actually, in the US, healthcare systems have a powerful impact on health
outcomes in a negative way. People die because emergency rooms get full and
won't receive any new clients; ambulances drive around town sometimes,
looking for a hospital that will receive a client. Medical mistakes are a leading
cause of death and disability.
Poor maternal-child practices in healthcare systems make breastfeeding
very difficult for many mothers and babies.
