Yet again, there's an article in a major magazine -- Newsweek, 25 April
issue, p. 50 -- that discusses pros and cons of elective c-sections, with
no mention whatsoever of potential effects on the baby or on
breastfeeding. It's as if they think the only participant in a pregnancy
and birth is the mother.
Not really surprising in our "me, me, me" society, but I am so sick of
hearing about "No child left behind" when so many children are left behind
right from the start.
If anyone would like to write a letter to the editor, the address
is "[log in to unmask]," and letters need to contain name, address, and
daytime phone number.
