Hi All

I have a question for those who work in a *hospital* based 'breastfeeding
centres' where you see outpatients, not inpatients.

Are there any centres out there, that are staffed (by LC's) by EFT *from the
ward* rather than LC's employed solely to work in the BFC?

Where I work, our BFC is staffed by a different team each day Monday to Sat,
which means if I see a client today and she happens to need follow up in a
few days, it will be with a different LC from a different team. I may not
see her till the next week and that is only if I am lucky enough to have
given the next weeks shift! As you can imagine continuity is very difficult
and is more by luck than good management.

I am really interested in what else goes on out in the big wide world ;-)

I can be emailed privately at

should you want to answer off list

thank you for helping me gather info on this,
