I tandem nursed my girls. What I did with my toddler, was tell her if she 
didn't open her mouth big she couldn't nurse. I also told her that the baby 
needed to nurse first as it was the baby's only food and she was a big girl 
and could eat other foods. I did physically tandem nurse but not much as I 
felt too touched out. I successfully tandem nursed until older daughter was 
4.
