My husband and I set-up a booth for La Leche League today at the Chicago Baby
Fair. The amount of formula booths is quite overwhelming but I knew this
ahead of time. The funniest part of our setup was the woman in the next booth. She
has a 4 week old. She saw a formula booth and said, " Look, there's E----l! I
will have to go over there!" At least we do not have the people with the
personalized tapes playing the songs over and over again next to us.
I know this event attract thousands of women. I am glad we can be there to
promote breastfeeding to so many pregnant and new moms. Now the "maternity
lounges" are called "nursing areas". For so many years (I think this is our 6th or
7th year) people would ask what a "maternity lounge" was for. They wanted to
know where they could breastfeed at. I told all of these people to put this
comment in the suggestion area.
Have a great weekend,
