I know of one other case with the kind of nipple pain you describe.
Also augmentation involved and significant change in size.

Mom knew she was in pain but didn't realize how bad it was until she was
coming off the percoset post op.   She continued taking the percoset b/c
of the nipple pain until the script was out.  Then she took motrin q 4h.

She was going to breastfeed no matter what (she's a biological
anthropologist) so she kept at it.  But she also couldn't speak and
would sometimes cry while baby was nursing.   She kept up wtih the
motrin......there was significant improvement by 4 weeks but nursing has
never been really comfortable for her.
