There seems to be a lot of info out there about how much alcohol a 
breastfeeding mother should have but where can I find the research that tells us what 
the one glass of wine or beer is doing that is detrimental. I know there was the 
one study suggesting slightly lesser gross motor skills after one year but 
hasn't that study been questioned?

If Prozac is not contraindicated long term for breastfeeding mothers of term 
babies why is alcohol (and I mean small amounts not heavy problem drinking) so 
concerning? Heather
