I had envisioned the first(?) lawsuit to be more on the lines of "child,
with uninformed parents, is fed (free) formula in the hospital and later
develops diabetes so parents sue".
Dear Friends:
It would be nice if that would happen. However, diabetes is so common
these days that I doubt a lawsuit about it would get attention the way that the
death of a baby does. Unfortunately, it takes a lot to get public attention.
I hope this case is discussed everywhere on mass media, before it gets
squelched by an out-of-court settlement. I agree with the person who said that the
formula company will happily pay out of court to shut this one up.
