I'm a longtime LC, but I dye my hair. I don't know where I fit in this
discussion :-)
In our area I see ed opportunities for LCs. I usually see mostly the same
people. We usually have meetings in early evening for convenience. I never
see some LCs attend anything. Unfortunately those are the ones I hear
"tales" about :-(
LCing, like anything else has to be kept up with, we need to take advantage
of ed sessions, read, read, read. Our profession has had an information
explosion. If you haven't kept up, you're info is dated and probably not
as helpful as it could be.
Some things I suggested 20 years ago, I now know, were just plain wrong.
But you know what? Moms and I muddled thru and they BF! And some things I
said 20 years ago are my tried and true methds of helping moms.
