Valerie, I do share your fears in this. Indeed the silence from within the
lactation world is almost total. But what can we do?
I think the only way to stop this (and other unethical research and
development with genes) is to have it forbidden by law universally to use any  genome,
including and above all, the human genome to be used for anything but  the
species itself. I don't see this happen, with the strong political and
financial influence of international industry.
