First of all , I'd want a repeat of the test with the baby fasting for as
long as possible before test, maybe 4 hours if they could go first thing in
am. I'd also want to know what babies chol levels are! What is the
standard for an 11 mo old baby? I wouldn't say that 257 is extremely high
for a baby. You can't compare a baby's chol to adult levels, they have to
be age appropriate levels. My at home ped text lists 114-203 as average for
