I'd like to point out a wonderful example of a "wiessingerized" ad for
breastfeeding.
You can view the ad in context, in the community newspaper "Northern Life"
at:
http://www.northernlife.ca/xml/show2.asp?issue=012303&xml=9_29_04&sub=Next&p
revPage=0&prevcode=0
Your shorter link is: http://makeashorterlink.com/?N1EE25679
(go to page 13, scroll to bottom of page)
I would like to congratulate the Sudbury & District Health Unit (Ontario,
Canada) on the
wording and picture of the ad. It is exactly what I think we need to see -
breastfeeding as normal. And it is directed to the general public, as much
as the breastfeeding mom, to educate them to support a woman to breastfeed
in public.
Women know they should breastfeed and they want to - they need society to
support them to do so.
