Just a comment/question for Nancy's post. The c/s
babies "seem" to have a more juicy tummy and are erpy
for a day or two. I tell the parents that the baby
will either spit it up or poop it out and that lots of
colostrum will help with the pooping process. We have
a few nurses that like to "clean out" the stomach with
a ng tube which I find unnecessary. If the babies
are getting TTN, it would seem to me that they may
just be a little early.
