Hi all,
I just wanted to share a cute story a mom I've been working with told me today. I've been to her home twice for a consult and weight check. (Mom has PCOS and had struggled with milk supply issues with her first baby 2 1/2 years ago, but is doing better with baby #2 while taking Metformin.) The mom told me that she found her 2/12 year old putting her baby doll on a tray. When asked what she was doing, the child replied, "I'm Kwisteen Wogers, and I'm weighing the baby." Mom asked, "How much does your baby weigh?" The little one promptly replied, "Two minutes". Mom thinks that her daughter might even grow up to be an LC! When they came to see me today for another weight check on the new baby, of course, we had to weigh the baby dolls first! So I guess I'm already helping train the next generation of lactation consultants, too. :)
