I was wondering if anyone has come across a lactating mother whose
anterior 1/3 of her tongue goes numb during breastfeeding. She claims it
happened with her first child and is occurring with her second. She has
seen a neurologist, dentist, and OB/GYN. No one can explain what is
going on. Thanks for any anyput. Laurie Beck, RN, MSN, IBCLC, Corpus
Christi, Texas
