Here in Israel we often get American programs a year or two later than
you do, and I just saw Kate and her gorgeous kids, Ursula, Sage and
Beno. Kate, if you are here, I just want to tell you that you were
really amazing, presented the issue in such a caring, informative and
intelligent way. Here in Israel we have many moms who breastfeed for 3
years and longer. I hope they were watching.
I wanted to kill Phil for interrupting you, for misquoting the AAP and
for saying that it is OK for babies to cry because it is good for their
lungs.
I will let you know if there is any feedback in the forums about it. He
told viewers that they could write into a website. Was there any
feedback then when the show was aired in the States.
Esther Grunis, IBCLC in sunny Tel Aviv.
