<<As parents are making the decision between breastfeeding and formula,
do you
> inform them of the risks of formula and if so what do you say?>>

leading question.;)

instead, one could say 'what guidance might you offer a parent who is
making a decision between breastfeeding and bottlefeeding?"

do you feel that one kind of feeding over another leads to better sleep
patterns?

i have a friend who is a pediatrician and she absolutely is vocal that
breastfeeding is exhausting b/c breastfed babies can only be put to bed
by mom, and when they do sleep, they don't sleep as long as ff babies,
then again must be put back to bed by mom.

she thinks 'bfeeding is fine is you're doing it b/c you WANT to, but
that when you want to stop, or if you don't want to do it at all, it's
important to know that your baby will be fine'.

having said that, I did use her as our ped for awhile b/c i liked
everything else about her style, office, staff...she was great with the
kids, a good diagnostician etc.

open ended questions give lots of fun info.....
