I would like to know if anyone has had experience prescribing domperidone a few days before an elective section.

This woman has had a breast reduction with 3 kg being removed from her breasts. she has had it prescribed for her previous babies at 5 days and then 3 days. but is  now wondering if it would increase the colostrum if taken 2 -3 days prior to the surgery. I am unable to answer her question

In New Zealand Domperidone can be purchased over the counter in pharmacies, and it is still widely used for lactation
