Dear Ann, I just wanted to tell you that at our ped staff meeting 3 mo ago
some pretty silly questions were asked of our LC. I decided that they
needed a bit of breastfeeding info at each meeting (every other month), so
last month I printed out your page in color, laminated page one and then
gave out one set to each ped practice represented there. I also hung one in
each nursery (2 hospitals). I told them since we know that the positive
effectys of BF are dose related I will be giving them a dose each month of
BF info :-)
I am so delighted to have the info for next month already designed by your
coalition! I honestly don't know if it will make a difference, but it makes
ME feel better about the abysmal lack of decent BF guidance. I've been
doing this for 37 + years and sometimes I get very discouraged and then
something like you piece comes along and brightens my day. Thanks, Pat in
SNJ
